On this new moon day, I offer you this 34th birthday year as a year dedicated to new beginnings, transitions, and transformations. I offer you my unspoken desires as well as my fears. I offer you mindfulness as well as my lapses of in-attention and distraction. I offer you my intention to be fully response-able for my life-I offer the thoughts that generate joy and peace. I offer the thoughts that generate blame, shame, and judgement. I offer thoughts that honor possibilities and promises of a higher way. I offer my attachments to things being done a certain way- “my way”- I offer you surrender: the no-self, self that serves and sees the greatness in others and leads through leadership of self. I offer you adoration in my renewed commitment to self-care and in silent blessings of peace offered for all beings and all relations.
On this new moon day, I renew my vision and promise to step into my destiny and purpose-my sacred contract. May my actions release any unnecessary trauma and pain from past and future generations. May my actions-small or large, contribute to humanity's liberation.
I offer you my many selves to complete what I was incarnated to do-mother, activist, babaylan, partner, leader, friend, daughter, sister, counselor, healer, non-profit worker, writer, thinker, social change-entreprenuer, lover, igorota, illocana, settler, soul. May I be a worthy vessel. May I always move forth with an ever-present awareness of the YOU.
